The only absolute prerequisite is that your shoes be clean (bring an extra pair if getting to the studio involves rain, snow, or mud), with no cleats or metal that could damage the hardwood floors. Shoes with flat soles and suede leather can turn and slide across the floor more comfortably than shoes with treads and rubber soles. For ladies, a low heel - no more than 2 inches - helps to distribute the weight onto the balls of your feet, which also aids in balance and turning.

That's fantastic question ! It's always encouraging to hear that dance schools cater to a wide range of abilities. Knowing that you offer classes for all experience levels, from beginner to advanced, takes away any potential hesitation someone might have about not being "good enough" to start.
The fact that your experienced instructors will work with individuals to find the appropriate class level is also a huge benefit. This personalized approach ensures that new students feel comfortable and not overwhelmed, while more experienced dancers can continue to be challenged and progress. It suggests a thoughtful and supportive learning environment.
So, to directly answer your question, you don't need any prior experience to join a class! You can start as a complete beginner, and your instructors will guide you from there. This makes ballroom dancing accessible to everyone, regardless of their background.
